Dental Implants
Permanently Replace Missing or Severely Damaged Teeth
A dental implant is a small titanium screw that serves as the replacement for the root portion of a missing natural tooth. Dental implants can be placed in either the upper or lower jaws. Due to the biocompatible properties of titanium, a dental implant fuses with the bone and becomes a good anchor for the replacement tooth. Dental implants can be used as a solution for replacing single or multiple missing teeth.
Bonding
Repair Broken Teeth
f you have chipped, cracked or broken teeth you may be a candidate for dental bonding. Bonding is a term that can be used for many procedures that we do. However, for most patients it involves the direct application of tooth colored composite resin and is typically used to create a more attractive smile. Bonding can be used to change the size or shape of your teeth, creating a smile that appears more symmetrical. One of the most common procedures we do with bonding is to fill in spaces and gaps in your teeth. A single visit procedure can provide an immediate solution for a more attractive smile. Often times bonding may eliminate the need for braces, Invisalgin or orthodontic treatment to close spaces.
Tooth stains and discoloration that resist professional teeth whitening procedures may also be masked by bonding. If you’d like to cover your yellow, grey or brown stained teeth, bonding may be a perfect solution for you. Although bonding may not be as long lasting as veneers or crowns, it is a more economical way to achieve an attractive smile.
